Wendy Belfield appointed Chair of FETA Training and Skills Group
FETA has announced that Wendy Belfield has been appointed Chair of the Training and Skills Group.
As Commercial Director at InTandem Systems, Wendy has frequently championed the importance of training and qualifications in the building services sector and played a key role in the development of the hugely successful BEMS Controls Engineer Apprenticeship.
A long-standing member of the Training and Skills Group, Wendy has actively promoted the key role of T Levels in starting a professional route to competence and is equally keen to ensure that experienced workers are able to verify their professional competence.
Wendy takes over from Graham Wright who has chaired the group since its inception and spent 18 months in the role.
FETA Chief Executive Chris Yates said: “I’m delighted that Wendy has been appointed Chair of the FETA Training and Skills Group. Wendy has been a driving force in furthering the skills agenda and will no doubt ensure that the group continues to tackle the pressing training issues we face as an industry. I’d also like to thank Graham Wright for his valuable contribution in chairing the group from the very beginning and helping to establish its ongoing aims and objectives.”
