An excellent day was enjoyed by all at the 2024 Annual Luncheon, in what is FETA’s 40th Anniversary year. Guests appreciated a delicious three course meal, followed by the FETA Lunch Chair Mark Hughes’ speech which gave an update on current issues affecting the industry.
Mark noted the important contributions of all FETA members to the many active subgroups. He highlighted the importance of the upcoming GB F Gas regulation review, and paid tribute to EPEE and their Director General, Russell Patten, for the work they had done on the EU review process. Mark also spoke about the important work being done in a number of FETA associations with regard to competencies and training. As always, Mark thanked the FETA members who are involved in developing European and International standards.
The highlight of the day, however, was the guest speaker – Steve ‘interesting’ Davis OBE - who had the whole room thoroughly entertained and amused with his address.
